The credit limit for your IndianOil HDFC Bank card will be assigned at the discretion of the bank. HDFC Bank considers several factors before adding the credit limit to your credit card. Some of these factors are the credit score of the primary applicant, the credit report, the annual income, as well as, the repayment habits of past and ongoing debts.
You will not be receiving any reward points with the transactions made with this card as the other credit cards offered by the bank. However, you will be receiving Fuel Points for each transaction made since it is co-branded by Indian Oil Corporation.
The Fuel Points which are given to you can be redeemed as CashBack on your card. You can also redeem the Fuel Points to purchase products from the HDFC Rewards Catalogue.
Apart from this, the Fuel Points can also be redeemed for free fuel using the complimentary membership given to you for the IndianOil XTRAREWARDS Program.
Fuel Points convert into IndianOil XTRAREWARDS Points at 1 Fuel Point = 3 XTRAREWARDS Points, and each XTRAREWARDS Point is worth Rs.0.32 on free fuel redemption. Your XTRAREWARDS membership stays valid even after the card is closed or upgraded, but you can no longer convert Fuel Points once the card is closed or migrated.
